BOARD CERTIFIED PHYSICIANS
ALTAF MERCHANT, MD
Dr. Altaf Merchant is one of the original partners of the practice. He also trained at Johns Hopkins and is board-certified in adult psychiatry. Dr. Merchant has extensive experience treating patients in a variety of settings to include outpatient, inpatient and partial hospitalization.
DANIEL S. KIM, MD
Dr. Daniel S. Kim received his undergraduate degree from Cornell University, and attended medical school at New York University School of Medicine. He completed his psychiatric residency at Brown University Medical School in Providence, RI. Since then, Dr. Kim has worked at New York Presbyterian Hospital and Sheppard Pratt Health System. He is board-certified in adult psychiatry and has extensive experience in treating patients in a variety of outpatient and inpatient settings. His special interests include affective and anxiety disorders.

MARILYN CIMONETTI, LCPC, RN
Ms. Cimonetti is a licensed clinical professional counselor and a registered nurse. She has over twenty-five years of progressive experience providing counseling services in hospital, day treatment and outpatient settings. She received her Masters in pastoral counseling from Loyola University. Her private practice work is with adults and adolescents.
MARY COLLINS, LCSW-C
Ms. Collins is a licensed clinical social worker providing therapy services to our adult patients utilizing a holistic approach. She attended University of Maryland and received a BA degree in psychology and a Master's degree in clinical social work. She has a wide breadth of experience within different arenas including private, not-for-profit, community and university settings.
ERICA DIXON, LCPC, LCADC
Ms. Dixon is a licensed clinical professional counselor and a licensed clinical alcohol and drug counselor. She has practiced in mental health and addictions services for over 12 years. She received her BA in psychology from Johns Hopkins University and her MA in psychology from Marywood University. Her private practice has focused on work with individuals, couples and families.
INDRANI MOOKERJEE, LCSW-C, DSW
Dr. Indrani Mookerjee is a licensed clinical social worker and has completed her graduate studies from Washington University in St. Louis. She has over 20 years’ experience in working with individuals and families experiencing emotional difficulties. Her theoretical background is in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Positive Psychology. Her areas of specialization are Eating Disorders including Weight Management and Binge Eating, Mood, Anxiety and Co-occurring Substance Abuse and Mental Health Disorders. She also treats patients who might be experiencing symptoms of Attention Deficit, Anxiety or Bipolar Disorders. She is a trained family therapist. Dr. Mookerjee also does marriage counseling and group psychotherapy. She uses a strengths-based model of treatment which focuses on problem solving and achieving measurable improvements. She has a culturally sensitive and collaborative approach to therapy.
STEPHANIE OJEDA-URUBURO, PSY. D.
Dr. Ojeda-Uruburo is a licensed clinical psychologist with extensive experience providing psychotherapy as well as psychological testing. She received her education from Lehigh University, American University and Widener University. She has a strong interest in working with families. Dr. Ojeda-Uruburo is bilingual and can provide clinical services to our Spanish speaking patients.
PAUL E. SHORT, Ph. D.
Dr. Short received his Ph.D. in clinical psychology from Texas A&M University and completed post-doctoral training in neuropsychological assessment in the Department of Neurology at the University of Maryland Medical School. He provides therapeutic support for adults who are experiencing psychiatric distress. He also provides diagnostic testing for older adults who are experiencing cognitive change, including dementia. He specializes in work with families touched by Parkinson’s disease and is a consultant and conference speaker for a number of Parkinson-focused organizations.
